Two-way sync between two clouds
Keep a folder in one cloud and a folder in another identical, whichever side the changes are made on.
How it works
Each run compares both sides with how they looked at the end of the previous run. A file added, changed or deleted on either side since then is added, changed or deleted on the other. Real-time mode runs the same comparison on a short interval, so the two stay close to in step.
Steps
- Connect both clouds.
- Pick the folder on each side, choose Two-way (or Real-time) as the mode, and save it as a schedule.
- The first run copies whatever each side has that the other does not. After that, only changes move.
Conflicts and safety
- When the same file changed on both sides between runs, both versions are kept, renamed, rather than one silently overwriting the other.
- If the record of the last run is lost, the next run re-establishes it from both sides as they are. That copies what either side has, so a file deleted on one side since the previous run can come back. This is rare.
- For one-way protection rather than two-way sync, a scheduled backup never deletes anything.
